Accountant Economist

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Accountant Economist to join our team. If you are an organized person, attentive to details, and have a good understanding of financial aspects, this position could be suitable for you.

Responsibilities:

• Processing invoices and payments for the acquisition and sale of tangible and intangible fixed assets;
• Record keeping on investment projects by summarizing acquisitions for each fixed asset and investment objective;
• Recording purchase invoices in the accounting program;
• Keeping track of fixed assets subject to bank liens and mortgages or to other creditors;
• Recording investment projects by aggregating multiple assets into a single investment objective;
• Keeping track and monitoring clauses in purchase contracts regarding implementation/acquisition stages and invoice payments as objectives are achieved through the contract;
• Monthly preparation of summaries of fixed asset inflows/outflows and payments/receipts from fixed asset transactions;
• Monthly provision of forecasts regarding future payments from ongoing investments;
• Maintaining records of Land Books related to owned lands;
• Weekly reporting to MADR (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) on: incoming heads/frozen meat stocks/obtained production/deliveries by categories/etc.
• Monthly reporting to MADR for each workplace
• Environmental reporting;
• Intrastat reporting;
• Monthly reporting to Statistics: meat/feed production, export/domestic sales; stocks; domestic consumption (losses).
• Organizing and recording annual fixed asset inventories.

Requirements:

• Higher education in the economic field, preferably accounting profile;
• Previous experience in a similar position is an advantage;
• Solid knowledge of accounting and tax legislation;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in financial matters;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
