Foundry Section Manager

• The main purpose of the job is related to coordinating and supervising the production activities in the Foundry section, improving performance indicators, and cost reduction actions.

Job Description:

• Plans and coordinates production activities, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality standards;
• Organizes the production lines in the area of responsibility to deliver the production plan at the efficiency and quality defined by the company;
• Supervises the delivery of products in processing between workstations and/or to the warehouse of finished products in accordance with the established deadlines;
• Checks how raw materials and semi-finished products are managed compared to technological consumption;
• Organizes maintenance interventions for pressure die-casting robotic equipment;
• Identifies and implements continuous improvement measures in production processes to optimize efficiency and productivity (5S, Lean Manufacturing);
• Supervises and evaluates the performance of the production team;
• Training and strict supervision of workers in the Foundry section, regarding occupational safety and health regulations, fire prevention, and extinguishing.

Ideal Candidate:

• Higher technical studies;
• Minimum 3 years of previous knowledge/experience in a similar position, coordinating a section of aluminum and zinc pressure die-casting;
• Excellent planning, organizing, and coordinating production activities;
• Solid technical knowledge in the field of die-casting molds and aluminum and zinc pressure die-casting processes;
• Person with communication skills, initiative, commitment, teamwork, and attention to detail;
• Knowledge of ERP management system is an advantage;
• PC operating knowledge (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint);
• Knowledge of English or Italian language.
